Street Photography
Being a photographer in Bristol, it feels important to capture the heart of the city, whether it be by celebrating culture and freedom of expression during events like St Pauls Carnival and Bristol Pride, or by capturing Bristolians coming together to take a stand against inequality and racism during June 2020's Black Lives Matter protest.
Portraiture
I am available for professional or personal portraits. Taking portraits requires an element of trust between subject and photographer. I endeavour to capture people looking like themselves, relaxed and full of expression. I often ask my subjects to tell me stories about their lives, or things they remember fondly or with emotion. This enables me to capture people in an honest manner, and for them to see themselves as I see them.
Event Photography
I am available to photograph events around Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire. Specialising in candid photography, capturing people and moments as they naturally occur. My rates are reasonable, and arranged to suit your needs.
Promotional Photography
If you have a business or product that needs promoting, or a project you'd like to document, get in contact to discuss your ideas.
Monthly Residency - Story Slam Bristol @ The Wardrobe Theatre
Story Slam is a story-telling event where members of the audience choose to tell 5 minute stories based on the months theme. I thoroughly enjoy photographing this event, I am often moved and inspired by the stories told. It's such a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon! I look forward to it resuming when Covid is over.
Ongoing Project - The Agenda of Gender
Below are some examples of an ongoing project I am working, where I am exploring the 'agenda of gender' through photography. If you are interested in being involved, please contact me via the email address on my contact page.
